We stopped overnight in this magnificent chateau on our return from England. We fortunately chose to eat in the restaurant and were glad of the decision.
The English waitress was cheerful and helpful, and whilst the service was not rapid - it was appropriate for the gourmet experience that we enjoyed. The foie gras was some of the best I have eaten, and we were informed that it was made "in house" by the chef. The fish courses were exquisite and the meat courses hugely enjoyable. The organic white cote du rhone was delicious and full of complex flavours. A very pleasant experience all round.
