We stayed in the Chateau for 3 nights for a wedding.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and attentive. We stayed in a twin room and it was bright clean and very luxurious, with a separate bathroom which had a free standing bath and separate powerful shower.

I stayed here for one night on a classic car tour of France. We were greeted by lovely staff and shown to a delightful room overlooking the parkland and lake. The well appointed room had at a higher level screened off a washbasin, shower cubicle and WC cubicle-different but quite acceptable.

We revisited Chateau de la Cazine for a 2 night stay on our way back from Portugal to Caen. Our first floor room faced the park giving us gorgeous views of the autumn colours. The classic white furniture is very attractive and we enjoyed the diagonal position of the bed, facing the TV and the windows. The shower and loo with frosted doors behind the bed are typical of a boutique hotel.

Well worth the cost of dining here. Excellent service, perfect ambience, staff extremely attentive and food deserving of the Michelin star. Eat the carte blanche at the whim of the chef. Wine is a little expensive, five course meal came in around 62 Euros each, 12 euros extra for the cheese board but a super choice of cheeses.

Lovely chateau in lush countryside. All the facilities you need including a pool ( too cold to use it sadly ) Friendly staff and really helpful despite the occasional language difficulty.
Rooms are really comfortable and the restaurant has a Michelin star.

This is a perfect place to stay if you're traveling from the southwest of France back to Paris (as we were). We spent two nights for our 10th anniversary with very little information to guide us, but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations and the attentiveness of the staff.

After more than 40 trips in the French countryside we discovered Chateau de la Cazine. What a spectacular find!! After so many years we thought we had seen it all. The lovely modern rooms and Michelin ranked cuisine doesn't begin to describe what sets CDC apart from the rest. Picture sitting on the patio at dusk with a cocktail Maison in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

It is easy to review, once you have only compliments to make!

We choose to have our wedding ceremony at the Luxury Chateau de La Cazine, and it was simply the best choice we could ever make!

We chose to stop over here on a drive from the Dordogne to Paris. The hotel is a superb and quiet chateau, with a golf course under development. The staff simply cannot do enough for the guests. They first took us to the room and insisted on unloading the car for us. The room, in a corner of the second floor, was oddly shaped, and the furniture was arranged in such a way as to make the best use of the space. It was so perfectly clean that we could have been easily convinced that no one had ever stayed in it before. The bed was comfortable, the lighting good, and the bathroom, with separate tub and shower, was exceptional.

Summerlane2018 - 12th September 2018 We lunched at the chateau on a beautiful day in August. Although it was very quiet we had a very nice meal ordering from the Chateau cazine 3 course menu, where there were two choices for each course. The restaurant staff were very friendly and although we were prepared to speak French their English was perfect. We were offered a choice of tables and elected to sit by the open door, which looked out ...

Our 3 nights spent in this luxury chateaux was one of the best ever, the polite attentive staff couldn’t have done enough for you, we had many requests about the surrounding area and their knowledge was superb. JonJo777, UK - 22nd May 2018 -  First time staying at this particular Chateau. From the moment we parked the car, we were saying “wow” as we carried our suitcases to the steps of the Chateau. Upon entering, we were greeted with a beautiful smile and the magic had begun. We really enjoyed our time and recharged the batteries. Must visit! Impeccable standards with a very high level of detail in the delivery of the service.

WildeOscar, France - 2nd May 2018 -  We ate an excellent lunch here yesterday. Great value and superb service. The Château de la Cazine is set in its own grounds and the view from the dining room is across well manicured lawns toward an attractive lake. We took our coffees on the terrace in the sun. The location is difficult to find but well worth seeking out. When we phoned and make the lunch booking, the staff were extremely ...

Lost for words - 22nd March 2018 Fantastic place to have your wedding. Planned and booked quite a while ahead and visited the venue a year prior . Glad to say that everything went perfectly and the place exceeded expectations across the board. For those who are not French, consider reading a cultural book (even just a pamphlet) or two. It is not the UK and it is not America. You may need to follow up. You may need to take some initiative. If ...

David S - 1st November 2017 Interesting historic place. Lovely architecture inside and out. It's lovely to walk around the grounds, the lakes in particular are beautiful. The room was a corner room, great views across to the forest and to the old chateau. Meal was lovely and the little bar is unique. Sad to leave.
