"Superb Hotel with great food, great staff and Bedrooms" - Chateau de la Cazine

I stayed here for one night on a classic car tour of France.We were greeted by lovely staff and shown to a delightful room overlooking the parkland and lake.The well appointed room had at a higher level screened off a washbasin,shower cubicle and WC cubicle-different but quite acceptable.

Going downstairs we were served aperitifs with scrumptious hors d'oeuvres then shown into a private dining room where we had a superb meal served by very nice staff .After a peaceful nights sleep a comprehensive breakfast was served.

I would stay here again anytime I was in the area.

Beautiful setting and outstanding food

KellyB - 18th April 2019 Was extremely surprised at the price of lunch here for such a beautiful setting and outstanding food. They have a set daily menus forc15 euro which consists of 3 courses. There is also 2 other set menus increasing in price but also courses. You can take some lovely walks asking the grounds.

The staff were very tentative and friendly

JonG - 21st April 2019 Peaceful setting just out of La Souterraine, off the beaten track. The staff were very tentative and friendly and were very forgiving of my poor French pronunciation! The hotel has a warm welcoming atmosphere from the moment you enter. The food was extremely enjoyable.

Beautiful Chateau in a lovely rural location

Beautiful Place

The Chateau of Your Dreams
